Haerbin metro line 3 is the only ring line of Harbin metro planning in the inner city. It extends from HongQi street in the east, and passes through TongXiang street, Health Care road, HaXi bus station, LiJiang road, KangAn road, HaYao road, YouYi road, JingYu street and ZhenJiang street, and then ends up in HongQi street, with the total length of 37 kilometers. There are 34 underground stations on the whole line, and respectively transfer for subway lines 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 9. The construction of line 3 is divided into two stage engineering.
The first stage engineering of five stations namely the Automobile Gear Factory--the Second Hospital of Medical University, has been completed of the civil construction. and the interzone tunnel has been completed for the 95% of the whole project. The track paving work was completed by the end of 2015, and the track was connected. By the end of 2016, the first stage engineering will carry passengers for trial operation. It will run through four districts, including daoli district, nangang district, xiangfang district and daowai district, and connect with hasi district and qunli new district. It not only relieves the traffic pressure in the main city, but also connects with hasi bus station to greatest facilitate the transfer of passengers.
