The predecessor of Beijing hospital was a German hospital founded in 1905. In 1945, BeiPing municipal health bureau took over the former German hospital and renamed it " municipal Peiping hospital".In 1949, the health ministry of the central military commission led the medical staff of Yan 'An central hospital and Bethune international peace hospital to take over the municipal Peiping hospital, and changed its name to "Beijing hospital" with the change of Beijing place name.
