Dalian Kinpu intercity railway (hereinafter referred to as Kimpu line) starts from Jiuli station of the existing fast track No. 3, and turns north along 202 national road, Shenda expressway and Hainan road. And then it turns to Haipi road in front of Gulin park, then to Pulandian city, and then turns to the west to Zhenxing road of Pulandian bay industrial zone. The line length is 43.152km. Among them, the length of the overhead line is 23.598 km, the length of the underground line and the mountain tunnel is 1.229km, the length of the surface line is 18.325km, and the length of access line is 2.295km.
Dalian metro line 13, also known as Kinpu intercity railway, starts from Dalian north railway station and ends at Zhenxing road of the Puwan new district. It runs through Ganjingzi district, Jinzhou new district and Puwan new district. Dalian metro line 13 is divided into two parts for construction, the north section is from Jiuli station to Zhenxing road, and the whole line consists of 62 kilometers of main line project and 21 stations project. The rolling stock depot project covers 29 hectares and the building area of control center project is 10,000 square meters.
