Xi 'an metro line 5 is an important east-west traffic artery in Xi 'an metro network. It runs from Xi 'an jiaotong university's innovation port in the west to the textile city railway station in the east. It is the second east-west passenger express road connecting xi xian new area with xi 'an city.The total length of the line is 45.145km, with a total of 34 stations. It is expected to start trial operation at the end of June 2020.
The first phase of the project is 25.24km, including 24.04km underground line, 1.05km overhead line and 0.15km surface line.A total of 21 stations were set up(20 underground stations, 1 elevated station). There is one Apang Palace rolling stock and integrated base, one Yanming lake parking lot, one control center (Shared with line 4 and line 6, located in space city rolling stock of line 4 ).
The second phase project starts at Heping village of the east, and ends at Xi 'an Jiaotong university's innovation port. And they are laid along the town circle, Tianyuan road, many dissenting Confucian avenue, science and technology road, Kunming 2 road, and Da-zhai road, With a total length of 19.87 km, the elevated line is about 12.21 km and the underground line is about 7.24 km There are 13 stations, including 8 elevated stations, 5 underground stations and 2 transfer stations.
In November 2019, our company won the bidding for Xi 'an metro line 5 project.
